Although Palms are tropical, most of them can tolerate extreme climate. There are several Palms, which are cold hardy. There are several Palms which can stay indoor happily and create a wonderful grace.

Most of the Palm growers are to be found in Australia, southern USA and Southeast Asia where the climate, normally hot and humid, is ideal for growing so many of the palm species that are indigenous to tropical and subtropical parts of the world.
